Dear Cycling Family,
Daniela went to the factory this week.
She checked the production line and the quality of the Rain Pants in every single detail.
Guess what?
They are tremendously beautiful and technically powerful. They overcome our initial expectations.
When everything goes well, 100% of the Rain Pants will be produced by the 15th of October.
It's been a hell of a ride and we handled it.
Shaky, hard and difficult.
Now, we just started the final sprint of the marathon. We have one more month of production, quality check in order to start shipping.
We are almost there!
We had to transform the way we work, produce and create within weeks due to a world wide pandemia.
We are proud to announce that we are about to cross the final line.
It makes us happy to work for cyclist like you.
You have been amazingly supportive and patient.
You are an amazing community.
You are our Cycling Family.
Ride in Peace,
Daniela, Andrea, Carola and Roland

Dear Cycling Family,
We hope that your summer is full of bicycle rides. That you are going from city streets to mountain trails like never before.
Here in Bogota, cyclists are springing up like mushrooms. Like many other major cities around the world: Paris, NYC, SF, Tokyo, Buenos Aires.
This connects us with our purpose and our mission: make cyclists happy. Not because you have an awesome new jacket or rain pants.
But because this apparel allows you to ride more. To go further. To spend more time on your bike. Rain is no longer an issue for you to ride.
So when we thought about making a new jean to ride a bike, rain was in our mind. It’s always in our mind.
Indeed, for those of you who havepre-ordered the Jean, here is a great news: we are trying to add a new feature: water repellency!
Here is how the invisible zipper will look, with a red inner pocket.
Please keep in mind that the jean will be BLACK finally. Those are blue because we recycled the fabric we had to make prototypes.
But the big news is that we produced the first Rain Pants! We are doing it for you guys.
With love.
With with quality,
and with Colombia Flow. Oh yeah.
In order to take care of the workers body and mind, every 35 minutes, the factory stops do to some stretching.
On Fridays, they dance Salsa. There is flow behind every single stitch. That's why we love our work so much. Because not only we care about you but also about the people who are making the magic happen.
Wanna see by your self?
Here you go! We added also a little video showing the water repellency of the jean.
Seeing the project moving forward fills us with positive energy and pure love for what we are doing.
We can't wait to see all of you wearing your new apparels.
Have a beautiful weekend. Ride bicycle and enjoy life.
Plenty of good vibs to every single one of you around planet earth!

New lock down measures impact our production (again)

Dear Cycling Family,
Let’s start with some good news and some pictures of the production!
We are yet 100% ready to ramp up production.
All the fabrics are cut and ready to be sewed except that there’s just one tiny problem: most workers can’t physically come to the factory.
A zoned lock down measure was imposed on Bogota. This measure means that most workers are unable to move from their home to the factory.
It changes our production and shipping schedule once again.
Today it's hard to give you a precise delivery date because there’s no official date about when workers will be able to work at scale in the factory yet.
We do not want to give you false expectations, so the best we can do is ask for your understanding and patience right now.
But basically we want your Rain Pants to be delivered before the first rain drop is falling from the sky in Autumn.
As soon as production will be ramping up, you will be notified of course.
We also wanted to remind you that you are in good hands: it´s the 5th campaign we are handling.
Thanks to our webpage, www.movacycling.com, we have been able to maintain our company healthy during the crisis.
By receiving new orders and new pre-orders, we ensure a positive cash flow which is the key to everything. It allows the Rain Pants operation to keep moving forward.
Since cycling as a means of transportation is blooming right now, demand for our products went up.
It's crazy good news not only for us but for cycling in general. It’s a shame it’s happening under such circumstances.
Those lock down measures are made to take care of people’s health which matters more than production of course.
It’s hard for everyone basically.
Remember you are in good hands, and that we will keep you updated. We are transparent about what’s going on, so relax.
Here, we try to see it as an exercise to practice patience.
Cool videos coming soon by the way :)
If you have a question, feel free to reach out, we are more than happy to answer.
Ride in Peace,
Andrea, Daniela, Carola and Roland
